Good news on soil sampling

Our apartment complex was built 20 years ago on top of an old rail yard, so we decided  last year that it would be a good idea to test the soil for heavy metal contamination. Between season jobs

In spite of a severe lack of sunlight, our garden has survived the winter and with the a bit of extra daylight¬†over the past few weeks, the leafy greens are flourishing. I’ve had several meals out of our spinach, kale, sliver beet and even the beetroot leaves.
